Contribution Terms of Service

Digital materials you submit must be wholly original and created by you. 

You retain ownership and copyright in your digital materials.  By submitting copies of your digital materials to Loyola University Chicago, you permit the archives to preserve, reproduce, and distribute your work.  This permission includes the right to modify and/or reformat your material to conform to archives standards, and to make your submission publicly available in all media formats and to permit others to do so as well. 

Loyola University Chicago is under no obligation to use or publish your contribution.   

Contributed digital materials must conform to the following criteria:  

1. Content documents relating to the experience of the COVID-19 crisis.
2. File size of contributed content does not exceed 20 MB. 
3. Metadata submitted is deemed to be accurate. 
4. Submissions do not infringe any existing copyright.

Personal Identifying Health Information:
I understand and agree that the submitted material may contain personal information about me, including personal health information, and that this information may be archived and used as described above. I agree not to include personally identifiable information concerning another person or persons, or information that could allow a third party to identify other people, including other students or employees at Loyola University Chicago. This includes their personal health information, as the University Archives must follow the federal privacy law HIPAA.
