Phi Beta Kappa
In 1995, Loyola chartered the Kappa of Illinois chapter of Phi Beta Kappa, a national organization recognized as the oldest and most prestigious undergraduate honors society in the United States. On a national level, the society honors students who have exhibited intellectual curiosity, discipline, rigor, and achievement over the extended period of a liberal education. Loyola's Kappa of Illinois chapter additionally embraces those students who have excelled in their coursework.
