In 1986, John Reinke, S.J., collaborated with Greg Luckhaupt, M.M., director of the university chorus, to write "Hail to You Loyola", a.k.a. "Alma Mater". This collaboration came about when Luckhaupt attempted to find the previous Loyola Anthem without luck.
