When a monument to Nicolaus Copernicus at Chicago’s Adler Planetarium was proposed in the early 1970s, the Legion of Young Polish Women donated $10,000 to the project - more than any other organization.

Upholding Polish traditions and customs as well as promoting Polish cultural has become a driving force behind much of the Legion's work.

Since its inception, the Legion of Young Polish Women has provided one-time donations as well as continued financial support to Polish cultural organizations throughout Chicago and the United States. Here you will find but a sample of the projects and organizations the Legion has supported over the years.
